Our Mission
The Lantz Museum is committed to restoring, preserving, and promoting the rich history and legacy of the Lantz family of artists. This includes the preservation of the “House of Forty-Nine Symphonies” and the art, artifacts, and writings of the Lantz family across generations. Our mission is to ensure these contributions remain an integral part of New Mexico’s cultural history. We also aim to foster a living connection between people and nature, deepening appreciation and the experience of natural wild space at the Lantz Museum.

Our Vision
The Lantz Museum envisions establishing two distinct locations to enhance public awareness of the Lantz family’s contributions to New Mexico’s cultural heritage. The “House of Forty-Nine Symphonies,” nestled in the wilderness of Santa Fe County near the Pecos Wilderness, will offer a tranquil space to experience the Lantz Museum. Additionally, a museum building in the city of Santa Fe, NM, will serve as a central hub for cultural engagement and education.
